What are the different levels within NLP?
NLP introduction course - May be one evening or up to several days. This is a useful way of finding out whether NLP is of interest to you and whether you like the style of the Trainers. The Paradigm Academy hosts free introduction courses approx. twice a month: see Start course.

NLP Practitioner
Our trainings follow the international guidelines for NLP Practitioner certification. They cater to everyone who is interested in communication and personal development. NLP offers foundational knowledge on how the human mind works and you also become acquainted with a large variety of changework tools that first and foremost can be used to raise the number of choices in your life. There are two certificates offered during this course - 'NLP Practitioner' certificate and The Paradigm Academy`s own NLHealing Practitioner' certificate (you just have to work a little harder to obtain the NLHealing certification).

The duration on the NLP Practitioner course can vary considerably from institute to institute and there is everything from 7-day intensive courses to 24 day courses - and even more - even up to a full year. International NLP regulations indicates to at least 125 contact hours or with at least 65 hours acknowledged distant learning.

The subjects which normally are covered: Techniques for efficient outcome setting . Establish rapport. Develop self control which leads to proficiency and competency. Change negative behavioural patterns . Increase number of choices and flexibility. Check and secure that proposed changes are suitable as regards all aspects of your own and others lives and learn effective use of language. Introduction to modelling strategies.

Our entry requirements:

  • An attitude of openness, and a willingness to learn NLP first and foremost by close examination of your own life.
  • Minimum 90% physical attendance.
  • A willingness to participate in all the excercises.
  • A willingness to meet/ communicate with other NLP students approx. once a week for the duration of the course.
  • To follow the The Paradigm Academy's code of ethics.
  • All participants fill in a personal questionnaire.

Course content:
Module I
You will learn how to become even better at creating contact with others. You will learn about the connection between ways of thinking, language and body language. You will also learn about how we, human beings, think in terms of pictures, sounds, internal dialogue and our bodily senses and what this means regarding the way we communicate with each other. You will also learn how to ask questions that create a sense of awareness in others, thereby facilitating they themselves, come up with the solutions to their own problems.

Module II
In this module you will experience a deep understanding of the human mind. You will learn more about how we create our thoughts, how we hang on to old though processes (ex. Bad habits) and how we can change these. You will also learn to become better at motivating yourself, make decisions and change old, unwanted behavioural patterns and strategies. Here you will get to know a great variety of behaviour changing tools, for example the phobia/trauma cure and Time Based Techniques.

Module III
During this part of the course we will continue with the behaviour changing tools. You will learn to use the Time Techniques practically and you will learn to support them with specific linguistic patterns. You will also learn to work with metaphors and to use techniques to solve inner conflicts. This final module of the course is used to integrate NLP and Neuro Linguistic Healing.

NLP Master Practitioner
This training is open to those who hold a fundamental NLP Practitioner certificate and wishes to extend their understanding and knowledge of NLP, and also to better their skills in alterative work and to better their abilities and learn new techniques and models.

The course covers NLP material on a deeper level and it also introduces a vast amount of new materials. Participants will develop skills to change unwanted beliefs and values within themselves and in others in a way that suits their life, the lives of their family and work. The Master Practitioner course contains at least 120 hours of contact or at least 65 hours verified distance learning.

The Paradigm Academy retains all rights to make changes as regards time, place, instructors etc.

Entry requirements to NLP Master Practitioner
If you are interested in an advanced certification as an NLP Master Practitioner you must earlier have obtained certifications following the international standards at NLP Practitioner level. Following enrollment you will be contacted for an interview to work through your goals regarding your NLP Master Practitioner education.

Certified Coach utdannelse
This training can match any coaching certification world wide because of its fundamental profundity and meticulous comprehensibility. The training is constantly developing and is held by certified NLP Mentor Trainer, Coach and Healer Gillian R. Godtfredsen. She has extensive and time spanning experience in the field of Coaching, with both individuals and smaller and larger groups. The training has a holistic approach and a serious and fundamental base much deeper than normal "corporate coaching" which focuses mostly on the work related arena. Gillian has studied with the elite and she combines eastern and western wisdom with the worlds foremost coaching program used by Anthony Robbins and his "Mastery University" and "Leadership Academy".

For us at the Paradigm Academy it is important that a coach has skills and knowledge to assist their clients in all areas of their lives, not merely career and finance. The Coach should also be able to work therapeutically and understand how energy is stored in the body from connections to the past and so understand how such energy is released. This is essential for a successful result. Equally important to the area of career and economy is health & well being, family & friends, emotional life and last but not least Spirituality. which also must be considered by an accomplished and capable Coach. The Paradigm Academy's Coaching Module includes all categories of life and takes into consideration the contrasts and comparisons between IQ - Intelligence quotient, EQ - emotional quotient, AQ - adversity quotient and SQ - spiritual quotient or "The Ultimate Intelligence".

At the Paradigm Academy we offer an all including, balanced and holistic program which integrates and refines NLP skills. You can create your own business within coaching which reflects upon your own values and your identity.

To obtain the title "Coach" with the Paradigm Academy it is required to gain a certificate at NLP Practitioner level before embarking upon the specialised module in Coaching and in addition you must also have participated on the coaching seminar "Design Your Life".

The coaching module corresponds to the first module of the 4-module NLP Master Practitioner certification. This means that by participating on the Coaching module you have simultaneously passed the first module at NLP Master Practitioner level. Should you later wish to continue and obtain the NLP Master Practitioner certificate with The Paradigm Academy then you can do so at a 25% price reduction rate and you will be given the opportunity, should you wish to take it, to participate on the Coaching module for a second time.

The Coaching Certificate is structured as follows:

  • Neuro Linguistic Programming Practitioner
  • Coaching (= module I of IV at Master Practitioner level)
  • Design Your Life - Coaching seminar, 2 days.

Our trainings follow the international NLP guidelines and regulations. Therefore you can be sure that you will achieve and education of the highest possible standard. All trainings end with an evaluation whereupon, after passing, participants will be presented with their certificate, providing they have achieved at a satisfactory level.

Courses are held at Drammensveien 130 C at Skoyen Oslo, and tram, bus and airport train all stop close by. The course days are adapted with a balance of lectures, integrative exercises, walks in nature and exercises in smaller groups. We aim to create an education, which is as varied and exciting as possible!
